Sami Zayn vs. Rick Boogs w/Shinsuke Nakamura
Boogs suplexes Zayn. Zayn rolls out of the ring to regroup. After the break, Zayn is working over Boogs. Zayn dives off the middle rope but is caught in a bear hug. Boogs lifts Zayn in a delayed verticle suplex. Zayn knees Boogs in the head, which causes Boogs to drop to his knees. Boogs lifts Zayn back up and gets to the standing position to land the suplex. Zayn gets in Nakamura’s face outside the ring. As soon as Zayn gets back in the ring, Boogs small packages him for the win.
Winner- Rick Boogs
After the match, Johnny Knoxville sneaks up behind Zayn and dumps him out of the ring. It’s announced that Knoxville has qualified for the Royal Rumble.
In-Ring Segment: Charlotte Flair
Flair makes fun of the crowd for whatever boring New Year’s resolutions they came up with. Flair notes that the Royal Rumble is coming up. A video plays that runs down the competitors that will be in this year’s match. Flair announces she is going to be in the Royal Rumble. She will be the first champion to win the match and choose her challenger. Naomi inturupts and says Flair can pick her challenger now and it should be her. Flair says Naomi doesn’t deserve it. What has Naomi done lately? Naomi says she’s done this and hauls off and slaps Flair.
