Tammy Sytch is back in jail.
According to TMZ, Tammy Sytch (aka Sunny) was arrested on Thursday morning for unlawful possession of a weapon and making terroristic threats. Monmouth County Sherriff’s Office records show that Sytch was arrested in Keansburg, New Jersey and she is being held in custody on three total charges.
No other details about the arrest or the alleged threats have been released at this time, but records show that the weapons charge is listed as unlawful possession in the fourth and fifth degree (NJ laws are listed under degrees, not felonies/misdemeanors). The other charge is for making a terroristic threat during a state of emergency, as New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy declared a state of emergency on January 11 in response to the spike in cases of the omicron variant of the COVID-19.
This arrest is the latest of many for the WWE Hall Of Famer, as Sytch was incarcerated in July 2020 due to charges of eluding a police officer, violating a domestic violence restraining order and operating a vehicle during a second license suspension. The WWE Hall Of Famer was released from New Jersey’s Monmouth County Correctional Institution on June 9, 2021 and issued a statement to WrestleZone’s Dominic DeAngelo where she spoke about being excited to start the next chapter of her life. In November, Sytch also spent ten days in the hospital for an undisclosed illness, and had resumed making occasional appearances at independent events and signings.
