WWE Files To Trademark ‘WWE Sunday Stunner’

WWE Sunday Stunner may be on its way to your screens soon.

WWE has filed a trademark for the name of a new show or digital media series named after one of the most well-known finishing maneuvers of all time.

On Thursday, February 3, WWE filed to trademark “WWE Sunday Stunner” for entertainment services. It is not known whether or not this will be one of WWE’s pantheon of YouTube series, a Peacock exclusive, or something being turned into a television special, but the description of the trademark allows for all of these possibilities.

Speaking of the master of the Stone Cold Stunner, Steve Austin, he has been involved in the marketing for WrestleMania 38, which will take place in Dallas, Texas. Stone Cold continues to be part of the WWE family of programming through the Broken Skull Sessions, which can be seen on Peacock and features Steve Austin interviewing personalities such as Kevin Nash, Mick Foley, Bret Hart, and Becky Lynch.
