Bianca Belair wants to bring something new to the table at WWE Elimination Chamber.
At the premium live event on February 19, Belair will compete inside the chamber against several of RAW’s top stars. With a win, “The EST” will punch her ticket to WrestleMania 38, as the victor will earn a shot at the RAW Women’s Championship.
In an interview with Alistair McGeorge of Metro.co.uk, Belair made it clear that she doesn’t just want to win the bout; she wants to do something that will contribute a “breath of fresh air” to the Elimination Chamber.
“I feel like, being someone who didn’t come from the wrestling business and wasn’t from the independent scene, I have that unique outlet I can really pull from outside wrestling which can sometimes be a breath of fresh air, something new to reinvent the wheel,” said Belair. “I’m definitely trying to do that in the Elimination Chamber.”
To do so, the former champion stated that she’ll lean on her strengths in her effort to deliver something totally new in order to entertain the fans.
“You can go back and watch as many [matches] as possible, I’m just gonna depend on my ESTs – I’m gonna depend on being the strongest, the toughest, the roughest in the Elimination Chamber match to come out on top,” said Belair. “I’m always looking to set the tone and reinvent everything anyway. I wanna see if we can go out there and do things people haven’t seen before and just create something new with the Elimination Chamber match.”
“The EST” then previewed the bout specifically by calling the match “unpredictable” and expressing that she’s excited to compete in the first women’s chamber match that’s ever been held in Saudi Arabia.
‘This is gonna be my first Elimination Chamber, and in Saudi Arabia as well – I’m excited about going back.,” said Belair. “I think that it’s a really cool dynamic of everyone who’s involved in the match.
“It’s really unpredictable. I’m very, very excited about it. I’m glad I get to be a part of it. Like I said, I feel like no one wants this W more than me, with what’s at stake for the winner.”
Fans won’t have to wait long to see whether Belair can pull off the victory; WWE Elimination Chamber will stream on Peacock on February 19.
