The title “tides” of March could turn on next week’s WWE NXT 2.0 as the North American Championship will be on the line on the March 1 episode.
Carmelo Hayes will defend his title against former NXT UK Champion Pete Dunne. Dunne and Hayes confronted one another on the February 22 episode; the challenger pointed out that “‘Melo” has never defeated him, while the self-proclaimed “A-Champion” agreed to give Dunne a shot at the gold.
Also announced for next week is a singles bout between Gunther and Solo Sikoa. The latter saved Malcolm Bivens from a very likely beatdown from the former NXT UK Champion. Sikoa left Gunter lying in the ring and set the stage for a clash between the two fighters.
Looks like @CGrimesWWE still has vengeance on his mind and he's not done with @Carmelo_WWE and @_trickwilliams. #WWENXT pic.twitter.com/tZRUyTzbFm

The other match announced for next week is Harland facing Draco Anthony; Joe Gacy, with Harland by his side, has been unsuccessful in his efforts to recruit Anthony, and the conflict escalated on Tuesday when Harland and Anthony came to blows.
The updated card for the March 1 episode of WWE NXT 2.0 is as follows:
- NXT North American Championship: Carmelo Hayes (c) vs. Pete Dunne
- Gunther vs. Solo Sikoa
- Harland vs. Draco Anthony
