John Hennigan (John Morrison) Announced For Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 8

John Hennigan, formerly known as John Morrison in WWE, has been announced for Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 8 on March 31.

Barnett announced the news in a tweet on February 27; he referenced Hennigna’s collegiate wrestling background and noted that competing at Bloodsport will allow the WWE star to showcase a new side of himself.

Bloodsport 8 event will be part of The Collective, a group of events that will be held on WrestleMania weekend in Dallas, Texas.

Hennigan’s resume speaks for itself, as he has enjoyed plenty of success in WWE and IMPACT Wrestling, among other promotions. WWE released him in a wave of cuts on November 18. Since then, Hennigan has returned to AAA, and he has been advertised for The WRLD on Lucha, another show at The Collective.

Bloodsport 8 is shaping up to be a star-studded show; AEW star Jon Moxley, Biff Busick, Timothy Thatcher, and Minoru Suzuki, among other names, have been advertised.
