It looks like Rok-C is headed to WWE.
According to a new report from PWInsider.com, Rok-C has signed with WWE. It was noted that Rok-C, a former Ring Of Honor Women’s Champion, will be designated to the NXT (2.0) brand once she debuts with the company.
Rok-C took part in a tryout for WWE in December and it was later reported that she was offered a contract by WWE in last month. Booker T, who served as her trainer, initially said in February that she had signed with WWE, but later issued a statement and said he had misspoken about her status.
Rok-C under contract with Ring Of Honor until the end of 2021 when she was released as part of the company’s roster-wide cuts due to its self-imposed hiatus. She was the first ROH Women’s World Champion and held the title for 119 days, as she lost it to Deonna Purrazzo in a Winner Takes All match on the January 13, 2022 episode of IMPACT Wrestling.
Booker T recently spoke with WrestleZone and he was asked about Rok-C’s rise in Ring Of Honor in 2021. Booker said that he hopes he can keep giving performers like her a platform to excel.
“First ROH Women’s Champion. First. She was the youngest Reality Of Wrestling Champion at 16, it’s awesome to see the growth of Rok-C, from being that little-bitty girl when she first started at the school to now being the ROH Women’s Champion and making her return to Reality Of Wrestling just to bless us a little bit and that’s what Reality Of Wrestling is all about,” Booker explained, “seeing them rise and hopefully they come back and shine a little light on Reality Of Wrestling.”
