Luke Hawx Suffered A Concussion At NWA Crockett Cup Night One, Pulled From NWA TV Tapings

Luke Hawx went down with an injury on the opening night of the 2022 NWA Crockett Cup.

On March 19, Hawx Aerie (Luke and PJ Hawx) faced The End (Odinson and Parrow) in an opening-round match. Luke suffered a concussion during the bout, and he was unable to compete in the second round after PJ picked up the victory against The End. PJ subsequently came up short against  La Rebelion (Bestia 666 & Mecha Wolf).

Hawx commented on the injury in a tweet; he wrote that he was “heartbroken” because he and PJ had been looking forward to the Crockett Cup.

He later posted about it on his Facebook page. In both posts, Hawx confirmed that he has been pulled from the Crockett Cup and NWA‘s subsequent set of TV tapings:

“Unfortunately I did suffer a Concussion tonight at NWA in our 1st round match if the Crockett Cup. Im heartbroken!!! It really f***ng sucks because my friends and family know how much I love wrestling! P.J. Hawx and Myself have been looking forward to this opportunity for years and now I have been pulled from the rest of the tapings and ppv for safety. I feel fine now but Im just heartbroken and disappointed. Sorry for those I let down.”

WrestleZone will provide more details as they become available.
