Spoiler: Tag Team Championship Bout Set For IMPACT Slammiversary

IMPACT Slammiversary will feature a bout for the IMPACT World Tag Team Championship.

During the second day of the “Citrus Brawl” TV tapings, The Good Brothers revealed that they will face the defending champions, The Briscoes, at Slammiversary.

Reports from the venue state that Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson cut a promo on The Briscoes and their accomplishments. The Good Brothers then played a highlight reel of their top 10 achievements in IMPACT, and half of the list focused on Gallows and Anderson’s win over The Briscoes at IMPACT Multiverse of Matches. Mark and Jay Briscoe came to the ring and responded to The Good Brothers before the two teams brawled.

The Briscoes won the gold when they defeated Violent By Design at Under Siege, and the two teams will collide in a rematch on the May 19 episode of IMPACT Wrestling. The Good Brothers are two-time champions. Their second reign began at Slammiversary 2021 and ended at Sacrifice 2022, when Violent By Design dethroned them.

The updated card is as follows:

  • IMPACT World Championship: Josh Alexander (c) vs. Eric Young
  • IMPACT World Tag Team Championship: The Briscoes (c) vs. The Good Brothers
  • Ultimate X Match for the X-Division Championship: Ace Austin (c) vs. Kenny King vs. TBA
  • Queen of the Mountain Match for the Knockouts World Championship: Tasha Steelz (c) vs. Chelsea Green vs. Jordynne Grace vs. Deonna Purrazzo vs. Mia Yim
