Shawn Spears is determined to prove that he’s a giant killer, and he faced a big test on the May 20 episode of AEW Rampage.
“The Chairman” was set to compete on the show, and his opponent turned out to be Big Damo, formerly known as WWE star Killian Dain.

In his AEW debut, Damo showcased his power early and often, and he crushed Spears with a crossbody at ringside. But in the end, Spears caught the big man with a knee to the head and hit the C4 for the win.
Damo had a memorable run in WWE, as he was a member of SAnitY. He competed on the NXT brand for the last stretch of his time with the company before WWE released him in June 2021. Since his non-complete clause expired, Damo has ventured back out into the wrestling world. He has competed for OTT, PROGRESS, DEFY, and Control Your Narrative, among other promotions.
