KUSHIDA is coming to the Derby City Rumble.
IMPACT Wrestling announced KUSHIDA would be part of the lineup when the company presents its next live television taping in Louisville, Kentucky.

KUSHIDA is best-known for his work in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, where he is a six-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion and two-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion. KUSHIDA teamed with Alex Shelley as Time Splitters during his tag team run in New Japan. More recently, KUSHIDA worked for WWE where he is a former one-time NXT Cruiserweight Champion. KUSHIDA’s WWE contract expired in April and he returned to New Japan.
On a related note, in addition to KUSHIDA making his company debut, IMPACT Wrestling is also advertising Alex Shelley versus Chris Sabin for the event as a match where the “Motor City Machine Guns collide.”
