ROH Death Before Dishonor Result: FTR vs. The Briscoes

In the main event of tonight’s ROH Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view, FTR outlasted The Briscoes in a stellar 2 out of 3 falls match to retain their ROH World Tag Team Championships.

In an incredible match to close out the night, it was FTR who would do just enough to outlast The Briscoes. After losing the first fall and then winning the second, it all came down to the final fall. Thankfully for FTR, they would claim it, as Dax was able to hit a stellar top turnbuckle piledriver onto Jay Briscoe.

For a brief recap on how the match ended, check out below courtesy of our live, play-by-play coverage:

Cash and Mark, both bleeding from their heads, start the final fall by chopping each other in the center of the ring. Dax and Mark end up fighting on the apron and Dax blocks an Uranage, but Mark jabs Dax and hits a Blockbuster from the apron. Jay slugs it out with Dax and Cash before an inadvertent punch hits the referee, and Jay takes advantage and hits the Jay Driller. The crowd chants for the count but the referee is still down, so Jay kicks Cash and lifts Dax up for another Doomsday Device. Cash runs over and knocks Mark down, then they hit Big Rig but the ref is slow to get back in and Jay kicks out at two!

Cash gets sent back outside and The Briscoes hit another Doomsday Device on Dax, but they still only get a two count. After both teams slug it out in the ring, Cash ends up suplexing Mark from the turnbuckles through a table on the floor, and Jay tries to go for a Jay Driller but Dax shoves him into the opposite corner. Dax climbs the turnbuckles and hits a top turnbuckle piledriver and lands on Jay to get the pin.

Winner of the third and final fall – FTR
