During tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, a new group of championships were announced in the form of the AEW World Trios Championships.
The three new belts will be given to the best three-person team in All Elite Wrestling, and in order to determine who that is, a tournament will be held during the ongoing weeks of All Elite Wrestling, with the finals set to be held at AEW’s All Out pay-per-view, which is currently scheduled to take place on September 4, 2022.
It’s currently unclear just what superstars will be taking part in the tournament, but with the debut of a new group of belts, expect a ton of All Elite Wrestling talent to be clamoring for the chance to become the first champions.
