Even with the decrease in viewership, AEW Dynamite returned to first place in the demographic among cable originals overall last night, after dropping to second place the week before due to ESPN’s coverage of Major League Baseball. The numbers put them ahead of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for the sixth week in a row, according to Showbuzz Daily.
This week’s show kicked off with Jay Lethal defeating Orange Cassidy to set up his TNT Championship match against Wardlow at Battle of the Belts III this Saturday. The main event saw Chris Jericho defeat Wheeler Yuta via submission with the Lion Tamer. Jericho will challenge Jon Moxley next week on Dynamite for the Interim AEW World Championship.
