Big E is missing out on some delectable frozen treats, even one that is (allegedly) retired now.
During his recent appearance on Out Of Character with Ryan Satin, Big E was asked about the Pink Sauce craze and replied by saying he’s a bad person to ask about these things since he’s a clean eater. You won’t catch Big E eating Chicken McNuggets from McDonald’s, then Satin asked for his thoughts on the recently-retired Choco Taco. Big E said it’s not something he indulges in, noting that it’s just not for him.
“I know a lot of people have an emotional attachment to it, but it’s probably for the best. I know it’s not for me to say — if you enjoy it, it’s just not for me. We as Americans put a lot of things into our bodies that aren’t great for us. You don’t need a Choco Taco, but it’s not for me to judge. God Bless,” he said. “For people that are heartbroken, my sympathy.”
Big E said he doesn’t feel that way about all novelty ice creams, but the discontinuation of the Choco Taco doesn’t bother him because he doesn’t eat them.
“I don’t think I’ve ever even had a Choco Taco. I don’t think I have,” Big E stated before Satin asked what his favorite ice cream bar was.
“I am sorry, I don’t eat ice cream bars,” Big E replied. “It’s been — I used to eat ice cream, post-workout. I’d buy a pint of Breyers and eat that after a workout, but that was like a decade ago.”
This story has a hopeful ending, however, as Klondike has heard fan feedback and says they have “reconsidered” their long-term plans. The company is working on bringing the Choco Taco back to customers, so Big E might just get to try a Choco Taco after all.
