Gable Steveson‘s status with WWE is somewhat unclear.
Steveson, an Olympic gold medalist, signed with WWE in 2021. He was subsequently drafted to the RAW brand, and he appeared live at WrestleMania 38. Previous reports indicated that Steveson was considering returning to Minnesota for his last year of collegiate eligibility.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that “everything is cold” on Steveson. Though they wanted to debut him a while ago, Meltzer noted that “reviews on his training progress haven’t been good.” Additionally, the report notes that, despite the intention to fast-track him following the completion of his final season in March, Steveson “hasn’t even been around or talked about.”
In August, Steveson posted pictures of him training at Ken Anderson’s wrestling school with the caption, “Been getting active.. That time will be here very soon! #raw”.
