WWE SmackDown viewership increased on September 2.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 2.077 million viewers watched the show on Friday, which is up from last week, when 1.990 million viewers tuned in.
In the 18 to 49 demographic, SmackDown scored a 0.49 rating, which also marks an increase from last week (0.48). SmackDown ranked second in the demographic on Friday night.

This week’s episode was the go-home show for WWE Clash at the Castle. It opened with a Viking Rules Match between the Viking Raiders and the New Day. At the end of the show, Drew McIntyre crashed Roman Reigns’ celebration of his title reign reaching two years.
