Masha Slamovich: Winning The Knockouts Title Will Be ‘The Cherry On Top’ Of My IMPACT Run

Masha Slamovich believes the Knockouts Championship will be the cherry on top to her IMPACT Wrestling tenure.

Slamovich’s recent run began last year at Knockouts Knockdown, where she battled “The Virtuosa” Deonna Purrazzo. Following her impressive performance, IMPACT offered a contract to “The Russian Dynamite”. Since then, Slamovich has remained dominant and undefeated in the company. Now, Masha will take on her biggest challenge yet in IMPACT–battling Jordynne Grace for the Knockouts Championship at Bound For Glory.

In a recent appearance on Instinct Culture by Denise Salcedo, Slamovich explained her thoughts on her upcoming title opportunity. “It would be–I believe we were talking earlier about cherries on top of situations. I think it would be absolutely perfect,” she declared. “It would be the complete of the circle, the full circle. From the very beginning when I wrestled Jordynne Grace in 2019. Now to see in what, three, four years it’s been since then, how much we have both changed. I think it’s going to be very exciting.”

Slamovich continued on to provide a look in preparing for the high-stakes match, including details of her daily schedule. “It requires a rigorous schedule and hectic planning,” Masha said of her preparation. “I’m constantly running from one thing to the next. Gym to my kitchen to cook, to the booking, to training the students that I have at The Fallout. It’s just nonstop, but that’s the life I chose to live. I’ve got to say, I enjoy it. So to me, every day is a good day. It’s a day full of work.”

Despite her “rigorous schedule”, Slamovich revealed that she thrives off of the craziness. “I enjoy staying busy, and hard work leads to success. Simple as that. If you don’t put the work in, how are you expecting to see any results? So every day you work harder, you’re closer to your goals. I firmly believe that.”
