Lio Rush is returning to Game Changer Wrestling.
Rush hasn’t wrestled since January, when he hurt his shoulder during a match against Buddy Matthews on the second night of PWG’s Battle of Los Angeles tournament. In a tweet on September 29, he seemingly announced that he has been medically cleared to compete.
GCW announced that Rush will return to the company at Fight Club Weekend on October 8-9 at The Showboat in Atlantic City. Rush has competed for GCW in the past, and he appeared at the No Signal in the Hills 2 event in July in a non-wrestling capacity.
Rush commented on the news in a tweet and noted that he’s going to let his performance speak for him.
These last 9 months have felt like an entire lifetime. There’s so much I want to say right now, but for now let me just show you. #ImBack #LioRush https://t.co/1uNoh9Xl7c
