Jade Cargill‘s main focus is making the TBS Championship more special than the AEW Women’s World Championship.
AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill recently sat down with WHOOARMY to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked about the women’s titles in the company and if she has any interest in going after another one, Cargill thinks it would be total disrespect to go for the other title right now.
“There’s two; it’s the TBS Network belt. That’s the one I hold. I’m the first to hold it,” Jade Cargill said. “And the other one is women’s title which is held by the intermediate champion Toni Storm right now because Thunder Rosa is out with an injury. So I mean, I’m two years in the game. I think it would be a total disrespect if I just go for both belts and get both belts right now.
“So I’m just gonna give these women the time and grace to do their best until I decide that I want to go for the other belt. So honestly, it’s on my time. Let me just give them grace and give them time to get themselves together and a little shine they need because once I take over, it’s done. Everything’s on my time, and I’m just relaxed, chillin. I’m enjoying this belt right now. I’m building up and making it special, more special than the main belt right now. That’s my goal.”
When asked what’s next for her, Cargill said it doesn’t matter because she’s in All Elite Wrestling handing out jobs and believes her rise in the company is undeniable.
“I think that’s everybody’s question, and let me answer. It doesn’t matter,” Jade Cargill said. “I’m gonna do things on my time. If I want five minutes, I’m gonna go five minutes. If I decide if I’m seven. I might give them seven. It depends on what can they do for me. Because I’m out here handing out jobs. I’m handing out opportunities. I’m getting people signed.
“I only see them working with me, and they’re like, Alright, maybe they got it. Maybe they can work. So I’m giving people jobs, and whoever wants it they can get it because I got it. When I decide to go for the main belt, I’m not playing no games with these girls. Not at all. I’m two years in; I am killing it. Like I am up next, and it’s undeniable.”
