Hikaru Shida will be in action on the December 9 episode of AEW Rampage.
As confirmed during the December 2 episode of the show, Shida will put the Regina Di Wave Championship against The Bunny next Friday. On the November 25 episode, The Bunny and Ford came to the stage and stared down Shida following her victory over Queen Aminata.
The Bunny recently returned to the ring after she missed several months with an injury. Prior to her first match back at the AEW Dark: Elevation tapings on November 4, she hadn’t wrestled since the April 15 taping of AEW Dark. The Bunny hasn’t wrestled on AEW television since she lost to Toni Storm in a qualifying match for the Owen Hart Women’s Tournament on the March 30 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Friday’s match will mark the second time Shida has defended the title on AEW programming. She beat Emi Sakura on the August 29 episode of AEW Dark: Elevation to retain the title.
