WWE taped matches for the December 1 episode of WWE Main Event before the November 28 episode of WWE RAW, which was held at the Norfolk Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia.
NXT stars Zoey Stark and Joe Gacy made their Main Event debuts on the show. Stark faced former WWE 24/7 Champion Dana Brooke, and Gacy took on Cedric Alexander.
