Mandy Rose Issues Statement On WWE Release

Mandy Rose is grateful for her fans.

WWE released Mandy Rose on Wednesday, and the former NXT Women’s Champion has now commented on the move. Mandy (now posting under Mandy Sacs) shared the following statement on her FanTime page:

Hey guys, thank you for all the messages. I am overwhelmed with all the love and support from you guys. And don’t worry the page is still up!

According to a report from Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), Mandy Rose was released by the company due to risqué content she posted on the paywalled FanTime page. Some of the content reportedly leaked online this weekend, and it put WWE officials in a “tough position” due to the explicit nature of the content.

Mandy Rose dropped the NXT Women’s Championship to Roxanne Perez on Tuesday night’s episode of NXT. The match was initially scheduled for NXT New Year’s Evil on January 10.

As of this writing, WWE hasn’t made any official announcement regarding her release.
