Report: Details About The OC’s WWE Contracts

Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows returned to WWE in October 2022, and a new report shines some light on the lengths of their contracts.

Gallows and Anderson previously signed with WWE in 2016, and they had a fairly successful run as The OC. They won the RAW Tag Team Championship and were featured with AJ Styles at different points. WWE released the duo in a wave of cuts in April 2020, and they subsequently signed with IMPACT Wrestling. Anderson and Gallows won the tag titles three times, and they also wrestled for NJPW and AEW during this chapter of their careers. The duo returned to WWE and reunited with Styles on the October 10 episode of WWE RAW.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that Anderson and Gallows both signed five-year contracts, so they are set to stay with the company until late 2027. Sapp cited a WWE higher-up who noted that Triple H was involved with the duo’s decision to stay with WWE in 2019, and he “felt badly” when they were released the following year.

Sapp also wrote that many WWE contracts are three-year deals. The company signed several stars shortly after Triple H took over as the head of creative in July 2022, including Karrion Kross, Dakota Kai, and Bronson Reed.
