Tony Khan Confirms Dates For First Ring Of Honor TV Tapings, When It Will Air

Fans will finally be able to watch the weekly Ring Of Honor television show in the near future.

During Wednesday’s appearance on Busted Open Radio, Tony Khan confirmed when Ring Of Honor will tape its first set of television tapings under his ownership.

Khan shared that ROH would tape shows on February 25 and 26 in Orlando, adding that tickets for those shows would be on sale on Thursday, February 16. Khan did not share when the content would air but said he would speak more about it on AEW Dynamite when the Mark Briscoe versus Josh Woods match takes place.

Fightful Select first reported that talent was told an ROH TV taping was being planned in Orlando for the last weekend in February, with the assumption being that it would be at Universal Studios, where AEW Dark is taped. Voices Of Wrestling subsequently reported the specific dates that were being planned for the tapings. Talent is under the belief that this set of ROH tapings will lead into the ROH Supercard of Honor pay-per-view on March 31.

Ring Of Honor television will air on HonorClub. The website is currently live and the library features archived content from the promotion’s 20-year history.

Update: During a separate interview with Sports Illustrated, Tony Khan confirmed Ring Of Honor would premiere on HonorClub on March 2.

“Ring of Honor TV is coming Thursday, March 2 on HonorClub,” Khan told Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso. “We’ll have our first tapings on Feb. 25 and 26 at Universal Studios in Orlando, and we’re going to put tickets on sale for the inaugural taping on Thursday. Those will be the first-ever tapings of the new Ring of Honor.

“We also have the library on the HonorClub with 20 years of matches. All the Briscoes-FTR matches are available, including Final Battle from December, and those matches are going to stand the test of time in wrestling. Ring of Honor has a tremendous history. We have been able to introduce it with a further reach across the world this past year, and I’m excited to finally introduce weekly Ring of Honor shows.”
