The Undertaker Broke His Orbital Bone And Nose Getting Hit By Rey Mysterio’s Ass

The Undertaker knows that it’s hard to get injured by an anus.

Speaking on Hawk vs. Wolf, The Undertaker recalled the second time he broke his orbital bone. The first injury took place after a match with Mabel, who weighed nearly 500 pounds during his in-ring career. Strangely enough, the second injury took place years later in a match against Rey Mysterio, who is known for his work as a cruiserweight.

Undertaker explained how Rey was trying to perform a seated senton, but ended up hitting him in the face. Taker got hit right in the bridge of the nose, which resulted in a multitude of injuries.

“One of our littlest guys, Rey Mysterio, he’s a tiny guy, sweetheart of a guy,” he explained, “he ended up jumping off the top rope, and his ass was supposed to hit me in the chest, but it hit me right in the face.”

The Undertaker was then asked if he got his orbital bone broken by an anus.

“Yeah, I did. [laughs] I got — he was a little dude. It was a bony ass, and it was right on the bridge of my nose. So he lands,” Undertaker explained, “and then he drives me [down to the mat]. I got all of his weight on my head, and I hit the mat, and I blew out my [orbital bone]. I didn’t know [immediately that it was broken] but I knew it was possible. Also, it broke my nose, and I got concussed all on the same [move].

“It’s hard being injured by an anus [laughs]. But my nose was broke. I fixed my nose right there,” he said. “I just squeezed my nose back.”

The Undertaker said that the second injury still affects him to this day, noting that he has blurry vision and it caused him to change how he worked in the ring.

“The second one, to this day — and this was probably 15 years ago that that happened. I still have double vision. I can straight and I’m fine. But my peripheral vision, everything becomes opaque. So if I look up, it’s opaque, anything to my side. I continued to wrestle, so from that point forward, I couldn’t just rely on my eyes. I had to turn so that I could always make sure that everybody was clear, and I knew exactly where everybody was at.”
