Austin Theory Highlights Jey Uso As A Veteran He Learns From

WWE United States Champion Austin Theory describes how he has been learning from Jey Uso.

Over the past year-plus, Theory has been one of the breakout stars on WWE RAW. He has won the WWE United States Championship twice, and he has feuded with stars like Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley. Theory will face 16-time world champion John Cena in a high-profile match at WWE WrestleMania 39.

Speaking on WWE After The Bell with Corey Graves, Theory was asked to name two people he confides in or bounces ideas off of. He pointed to MVP and especially Jey Uso, one-half of the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions.

“I would say usually two people that I really like to mention is Jey Uso and MVP,” Theory said. “There’s definitely some others, but Jey Uso specifically is somebody that, since the beginning, when I got pulled up and I started doing the dark matches, I would say it was around a year ago, or maybe two years ago.

“I started doing the dark matches and then eventually got on the main roster, and then everything kind of took off, but even to this day, this past Monday, passing him into hall, he’s like, ‘Good stuff out there.’ Always keeping an eye [on me]. Even if I don’t see him, I’ll always message him and be like, ‘What’d you think?’ He’s a veteran of the game. He’s been there for a long, long time, so it’s always good to have somebody like that to help.”

Theory will face Montez Ford on the March 20 episode of WWE RAW. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs.
