MLW Battle Riot V will air on REELZ.
Major League Wrestling announced that its 40-man battle royal, the Battle Riot, will air on REELZ this spring. The company confirmed the news during the March 21 episode of MLW Underground.
MLW Battle Riot V will be taped at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia on April 8. The Battle Riot match features eliminations by pinfall, submission or throwing an opponent over the top rope. The winner of the match gets a World Heavyweight Championship match at any time they choose.
Variety has reported that MLW’s deal with REELZ was only set to last ten weeks. REELZ issued a statement in which it noted that no decisions had been made yet. MLW has aired 14 episodes thus far, and the Battle Riot show would be episode 18.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
