Report: Young Bucks’ Matt Jackson Suffering From Partially Torn Bicep

Matt Jackson of the Young Bucks is currently sidelined with an arm injury.

According to a new report from Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio (via F4WOnline.com), Matt Jackson is currently dealing with a torn bicep.

Alvarez noted that Matt Jackson elected to forego surgery and will rehab the injury in hopes of a quicker return. A timetable for Jackson’s return is currently unknown. Co-host Dave Meltzer noted that surgery to repair the bicep tear would have sidelined Jackson for about seven months.

The injury reportedly occurred during the three-way AEW Trios Championship match on AEW Dynamite in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. There, the House Of Black (Brody King, Buddy Matthews & Malakai Black) successfully defended their titles against The Elite (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) and the Jericho Appreciation Society’s Chris Jericho, Daniel Garcia & Sammy Guevara.

The March 22 episode of AEW Dynamite saw an angle take place where the Young Bucks were both stretchered out and left in an ambulance due to an attack by the Blackpool Combat Club.
