Lio Rush will face KUSHIDA at IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United.
IMPACT and NJPW confirmed the news a few days after IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander was forced to relinquish his title and pull out of the show due to a torn triceps. KUSHIDA, his scheduled opponent, will now face Lio Rush instead. Rush has been wrestling for NJPW in recent months; he faced IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi at the New Japan Cup Final event on March 21.
