AEW All Access Reportedly ‘Skirts Around’ All Out, Young Bucks Preview The Show

AEW All Access reportedly won’t shine much of a light on AEW All Out 2022 and the controversy surrounding the aftermath of the show.

AEW‘s new reality show will feature the company stars, and it will showcase their lives in the ring and behind the scenes. The show was filmed in 2022, but it will not dive deep into AEW All Out or the physical altercation between The Elite (Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks) and CM Punk after the latter made heated comments about the trio at the post-show press conference.

Sean Neumann of The Ringer reports that, “All Access skirts around the subject, and the Bucks, hesitant to freely discuss the issue, only offer up how “nervous” they were to come back from a nearly three-month suspension instead of taking a pin to ballooning theories online they say aren’t necessarily true.”

Speaking with Sean Neumann of The Ringer, Matt Jackson of the Young Bucks shared his thoughts on the lack of mystique in wrestling now, and he noted that some things were kept off-limits when they were being filmed for the snow.

“That’s what sucks about wrestling now, there is very little mystique,” Matt said. “All Access was revealing in a way where they wanted to come to our homes and do all this stuff,” Matt says. “We had to tell them, ‘Hey, some stuff’s off-limits.’”

Matt also detailed the challenges that wrestlers face, particularly in a world where social media tends to fuel a lot of negativity.

“In the beginning, it wasn’t like that,” Matt said. “There still were hecklers and there still are people on wrestling forums, but all of a sudden now you can become famous overnight, and with that fame comes a lot of hate and criticism. … That’s just the way the social media world works now, and that can be tough for a young kid. I really feel bad, and I sympathize, for those guys who don’t know what it’s like.

“We’re going out there in our human bodies, and we have real human emotions and feelings. When people say things about your real person, like, ‘Oh, I don’t like these guys as [executive vice presidents of AEW]’ or ‘I don’t like these guys in this certain way,’ and they don’t really know the full story, of course you’re a human being and it’s going to hurt your feelings.”
