David Finlay: My Bullet Club Will Be Defined By Blood And Championship Gold

It’s a new day for Bullet Club, and David Finlay is determined to return the group to its true purpose.

After Jay White left NJPW, David Finlay took over as the leader of the Bullet Club. This new era continues to unfold, as El Phantasmo was taken out of the stable and Clark Connors recently joined it.

Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Finlay discussed the new Bullet Club and noted that the faction lost sight of its purpose. He made it clear that he intends to change that and make Bullet Club more violent than ever before.

“We lost sight of what Bullet Club is designed to do,” Finlay said. “We became obsessed with selling T-shirts. That isn’t our intent. Bullet Club is here to disrupt and destroy. This is my Bullet Club. It’s going to be the most violent, ruthless version, and it’s going to be defined by blood and championship gold.”

As always, Bullet Club is represented around the world. Chris Bey and Ace Austin represent the stable in IMPACT Wrestling. Though White has formed Bullet Club Gold in AEW, Finlay briefly stated that White’s branch is not part of the real faction.

“Juice and Jay, whatever they’re doing in AEW, I don’t know what that is,” Finlay said. “Make no mistake—they are not part of the real Bullet Club.”
