Tony Deppen Announces He Suffered Broken Arm, Will Be Out For Two To Three Months

Tony Deppen will be out of action for a while.

In a post on Twitter, Deppen announced that he suffered a major injury for the first time in his career, as he has been sidelined with a broken arm. He stated that the injury occurred due to a freak accident in his match against Zack Sabre Jr. at GCW Fight Night Brooklyn on May 11. Deppen noted that he worked for a few minutes with the broken arm, and when he saw a doctor, he was told that surgery is the only option.

Deppen also stated that the surgery has a two-month recovery time, which will be the longest he’s been out of action during his career. He vowed to work harder than ever, and he thanked GCW for the opportunity. He also thanked Sabre Jr. and the fans before he wrote that he’d see everyone in two to three months.

Deppen is a regular with GCW, and he has also competed on ROH TV in recent weeks. He has also wrestled for MLW, among other promotions.

WrestleZone sends its best wishes to Deppen in his recovery.
