Blake Christian captured the GCW World Championship in a stunning way at GCW Cage of Survival 2.
Reigning champion Masha Slamovich headlined the event on June 4 in a brutal Cage of Survival match where she defeated Rina Yamashita to retain the gold. Christian crashed Masha’s celebration and cashed in his Grab The Brass Ring title shot, which he earned by winning a ladder match at Joey Janela’s Spring Break 7.
Christian then quickly defeated Slamovich in an impromptu match to win the gold.
With the win, Christian won the title for the first time and ended Slamovich’s reign at 80 days; Slamovich beat Nick Gage for the title at GCW Eye For An Eye on March 17.
