LA Knight: Logan Paul Entering Money In The Bank Match Would Be A Bad Idea For Him

LA Knight sends Logan Paul a message ahead of WWE Money in the Bank.

WWE SmackDown star LA Knight has widely been viewed as one of the favorites to win the Men’s Money in the Bank Match. However, with the announcement that Logan Paul will make his return on the June 19 episode of WWE RAW, some fans have speculated that “The Maverick” could be added to the bout.

Speaking with Alistair McGeorge of Metro, Knight was asked about the rumors about Paul potentially getting involved with the Money in the Bank match.

“Well, I think that’d be a very bad idea for him,” Knight said. “As much as he’s shined in all of his matches he’s had so far, he’s gonna find out that it’s not gonna be quite the same shine this time around when I’m in that ring,’ he promised.”

Knight made it clear that he’s ready for his breakout opportunity at WWE Money in the Bank, and he believes it’s long overdue. He reflected on the journey up to this point and noted that it has been a challenging road.

“I’m ready to go. This is something, for me, that I feel’s been long overdue. It’s been something that I’ve had to break my ass for,” Knight said. “It’s something I’ve had to be broke for, sleep in cars and drive all across the United States and fly around the world to make this happen – finally, here we are.”

Knight has some history in ladder matches, as he previously clashed with Grado in IMPACT and battled in Camerion Grimes in NXT. Looking ahead to WWE Money in the Bank, Knight stated that the opportunity is confirmation that his hard work was worth it.

“You remember what happened last time I was in a Ladder Match,” Knight said. “So, to have that ability within my grasp to grab that contract, it’s pretty wild. It’s basically just confirmation that all these years were worth it.”

WrestleZone will have coverage of WWE RAW as it airs on Monday.
