Santos Escobar says fans should “stay tuned” for new members potentially joining the LWO.
Escobar and his Legado del Fantasma stablemates joined forces with Rey Mysterio to form a new LWO in March 2023. The group has been featured on WWE programming ever since.
On the road to WWE Backlash, the LWO aligned with Bad Bunny, and the faction helped him beat Damian Priest at the premium live event. There, Carlito and Savio Vega also became honorary members by assisting Bad Bunny.
Speaking with Thomas Crack for Sportskeeda WrestleBinge at a media event ahead of WWE Money in the Bank, Escobar was asked about new members potentially joining the LWO.
“That’s the thing, LWO keeps bringing the surprises,” Escobar said. “I’ll bring it back to Puerto Rico, Backlash. Bad Bunny is huge, and that’s just a token of what LWO means nowadays. We had Bad Bunny, we had Carlito, we had Savio Vega. We had everyone else. So, could someone else join? Absolutely, yes. Who? Stay tuned.”
In a previous interview, Escobar noted that Triple H initially rejected his pitch for the LWO. Click here to see what he had to say.
Escobar competed in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WWE Money in the Bank. Catch up on our coverage of the show here.
