Report: Details On CM Punk-Led Talent Meeting Ahead Of July 8 Collision

CM Punk reportedly led a talent meeting ahead of the July 8 episode of AEW Collision.

Punk had been absent from AEW since AEW All Out 2022. He made his return on the premiere of AEW Collision on June 17. Since then, he has been featured on the brand ever since.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that Punk led a talent meeting ahead of the July 8 episode of AEW Collision. Word of the meeting didn’t make it to those who weren’t there or tend to perform more on Dynamite. Per Sapp, a “large part” of the meeting centered around how Collision has stood apart from Dynamite.

As for the discussion, ways that AEW Collision could differentiate itself from what is usually seen on AEW Dynamite came up. Specifically, the finishes of some matches and other shenanigans were discussed. In doing so, the meeting aimed to examine what was and wasn’t good for AEW Collision. Other subjects, including prompting AEW-related projects, were also covered at the meeting.
