A new report provides updates on injured AEW stars Bryan Danielson, Thunder Rosa, and Jamie Hayter.
Danielson injured his arm at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2023, and he subsequently had surgery. Hayter has been out of action since AEW Double or Nothing 2023, and Rosa has been unable to compete since August 2022.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer provided an update on Danielson. He reported that after Danielson’s arm surgery, he was told he would be able to return in three months. Melzter stated that Danielson was out for AEW All in and All Out, and Grand Slam “doesn’t look good.” He noted that Danielson should be back in October.
Meltzer also provided updates on Hayter and Rosa. He wrote that the current estimated return time for Hayter is February 2024, but that was a rough estimate. Additionally, he stated that Rosa is not expected back in time for AEW All In, though she is training for her return.
