Premiere Entertainment Group announced on Monday that it had acquired the rights to the family comedy F Plus (F+), starring UFC champion Randy Couture, Tommy Davidson, and WWE superstar Big E.
The film will be directed by Kenny Beaumont from an original screenplay by Jonathan Davenport, as reported by Deadline. The plot of the film follows a group of young teenagers who plan a heist to break into their middle school after they fail a test, in an effort to change their grades.
Alongside Couture, Davidson, and Big E (real name Ettore Ewen), the film will also star Jennifer Esposito, Wells Rappaport, Lily Jane, James Williams Jr., Lilly Rae Tricano, and Cade Clark.
For Big E, this will be his first live-action role in a film or television series in which he isn’t playing himself. Previously, he’s appeared on previous TV shows like Hot Wheels: Ultimate Challenge and Weakest Link as himself, but has yet to actually act in a film. He has lent his voice to the Adult Swim series Lazor Wulf, however, where he played the role of Canon Wulf.
The former WWE Champion has been out of action since March 2022. He suffered a fractured C1 vertebrae and C6 vertebrae upon landing on his head after a belly-to-belly suplex by Ridge Holland. In July, he stated that he felt great, but he didn’t have a timetable for his return.
