The Rock: Being A Girl Dad Is The Greatest Thing Ever

The Rock has said that being a father to girls is “the greatest thing ever”.

The Hollywood actor has three children, and all girls. One of them is Ava, who is the on-screen general manager on NXT.

The Rock returned to the WWE earlier this year, beginining a feud with Cody Rhodes that has become one for the ages.

He is wrestling against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40. Roman Reigns also features, teaming with The Rock in tag team action.

The former WWE Champion spoke with Drew Barrymore on her TV show, “Drew“, and discussed the joys of being a “girl dad”.

He also spoke about his relationship with his own father, which left him “hardwired”. His dad was WWE Hall of Famer “Soulman” Rocky Johnson, as the pair had a “complicate” relationship throughout their lives.

“[Being a girl dad] the greatest thing ever and I think, it truly is,” The Rock said.

“I feel like I had a real complicated relationship with my dad. I came in hardwired into the world, with a complicated relationship with my dad. Loved me to the best of his capacity, which was limited, and I understand that.”

“But my mom was such a strong influence. I had all these women who raised me who were such strong women. And then, of course [snaps fingers], years later, the universe, God, whatever that higher power is that you believe in, one daughter, two daughters, three daughters. It wound up being the greatest thing.”

The Rock’s Grandmother Is Rumoured To Be Inducted Into The WWE Hall Of Fame

The Rock was raised by many women, including his grandmother Lia Maivia.

He will be thrilled to hear rumours that she is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame, according to Mike Johnson from PWInsider.

Lia Maivia joins “High Chief” Peter Maivia and Rocky Johnson, her husband and son-in-law who were inducted by The Rock in 2008.

She is rumoured to be joined by Bray Wyatt as the final member of the class of 2024. They will join the already announced inductees, which include Muhammad Ali, Bull Nakanao, Thunderbolt Patterson, the US Express and Paul Heyman.
