Pro Wrestling Illustrated released the cover for the next edition of their monthly magazine. The star featured in the cover poster was former WWE Superstar and current TNA X Division Champion Mustafa Ali. The former leader of Retribution also took to his social media to share the news and also mentioned how proud he is to be the cover star of the magazine.
Ali took to Twitter to share the news that he will be the cover star of the upcoming Pro Wrestling Illustrated Magazine. The digital edition of the magazine is available for purchase right now. The printed edition will be available starting from the 16th of April.
Mustafa Ali is also happy to have had a record-making 2024 so far.
“Since forming my own independent party in January of 2024, I have launched a world tour which resulted in record breaking ticket sales, sold out the Wintrust Arena within hours, made history by capturing the X-Division Title in my debut match for @ThisIsTNA, and now claim the cover of @OfficialPWI,” Mustafa Ali tweeted.
Ali is also the first Indo-Pakistani wrestler to be the Solo Cover of the PWI Magazine.
“In addition to all this, I am the first Muslim, and the first performer of Pakistani and Indian descent to be solo cover on @OfficialPWI magazine. To do this during the month of #Ramadan is a genuine honor. As a kid, I read PWI all the time. But I always wished to see someone in that magazine that looked like me. I have finally done that. Thank you. #InAliWeTrust,” Mustafa Ali tweeted.
