Donovan Dijak says fans are about to see something really special now that he’s on the open market.
Donovan Dijak, formerly known as Dijak, entered free agency on June 28, as WWE opted not to renew his contract.
Dijak made his first post-WWE appearance at the Blitzkrieg Pro show on June 29. He addressed the crowd and said that he was going to go wherever he wanted.
“Last night, I didn’t have any plans of coming here,” Dijak said. “Last night, I still worked for WWE. Not any f**king more. I saw something I wanted, and I came and f**king took it. You guys are in store for something really, really f**king special.
“Because from now on, if I want to do something, I f**king do it. I don’t give a shit what state, I don’t give a shit what country, what promotion. I’m gonna go wherever the hell I want, whenever the hell I want, and take whatever the f**k I want. So if you got sunglasses on, take them off, open your eyes, take a good look because this is exactly what the world of professional wrestling has in store for it.”
Dijak Teases His Plans
In a tweet on June 30, Dijak commented on his appearance at Blitzkrieg Pro and teased his plans for the future.
“What a time, what a time to be alive,” Dijak said. “Feast your eyes because Donovan Dijak is back. Last night at Blitzkrieg Pro Wrestling in Connecticut, hang on a second, just gonna go through this door really quick. It’s a beautiful sun-shining New England day. The sun is out, the kids are playing. Donovan Dijak is playing wherever he damn well pleases.
“I’m gonna show up wherever I want, whenever I want, and you can feast your eyes on that because that is exactly what the Dijak Hijack is all about. Today’s such a beautiful day, it’s early in the morning, why don’t we go for a nice little drive? Maybe a four-and-a-half hour drive? I think that’s exactly what today calls for.”
Dijak has been announced for Prestige Wrestling’s Roseland 9 event on September 29. His opponent was not named in the announcement.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
