Hikaru Shida will challenge Mercedes Moné for the TBS Championship at AEW All Out. In an update, Kamille has been banned from ringside for the bout.
On the September 4 episode of AEW Dynamite, Mercedes Moné, alongside Kamille, came to the ring and looked forward to her match against Shida at AEW All Out. “The CEO” warned that there was a price to pay when you messed with “Moné”. Shida appeared on the video screen and recalled how close she came to beating Moné in their previous match until Kamille got involved. Shida said that Mercedes could not beat her.
Christopher Daniels then announced that Kamille was a nuisance when she was at ringside. With that in mind, Daniels said that she would be banned from ringside for the title match.
Shida earned the title match by defeating Queen Aminata, Sereba Deeb, and Thunder Rosa on the August 31 episode of AEW Dynamite. She previously challenged for the title on the August 14 episode of AEW Dynamite.
