Swerve Strickland made sure his message to The Young Bucks was clear tonight in a wild display.
During Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, The Young Bucks, Jon Moxley, and Claudio Castagnoli won an All Star 8-Man Tag. Competing against Hangman Page, Will Ospreay, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Katsuyori Shibata, the foursome won after Moxley locked Shibata in a Bulldog Choke.
After the match, however, chaos erupted. Gabe Kidd arrived with the rest of the Death Riders, leading to a massive brawl. The jumbotron then turned on, and showed Strickland inside of an excavator in the parking lot. He talked about having to choose between hate and success, but said they’re one in the same.
Talking directly to The Young Bucks, Strickland said he’s taking back some of the control ahead of Saturday’s match at All In. The camera then zoomed out to reveal Strickland crushing The Young Bucks’ limousine with the excavator, as the group ran out.
Strickland is set to team up with Will Ospreay against The Young Bucks at Saturday’s AEW All In: Texas. With this move, it seems clear he’s ready to go all out.
