Paul Heyman hinted that Adam Pearce received a phone call from someone powerful, someone even top WWE officials would not want to hear from.
Tension has continued to rise between Adam Pearce and Paul Heyman on WWE RAW over the past few weeks. The issues began when Pearce suspended Bron Breakker, which led Heyman to point out that Pearce had physically put his hands on Breakker and could face consequences himself.
Things escalated further this week during The Vision’s match against Rey Mysterio, Penta, and Dragon Lee. Adam Pearce got involved after catching Austin Theory trying to use brass knuckles. Pearce took the knuckles from Theory, confronted Heyman, and then accidentally dropped them.
This led to Rey Mysterio picking them up and using them to help his team win the match. Heyman immediately blamed Pearce, saying the RAW General Manager once again involved himself where he shouldn’t have and cost The Vision the match.
After the bout, Paul Heyman confronted Pearce backstage, warned him that he would be missed, and told him to take a phone call. Pearce’s worried reaction quickly sparked fan speculation about who could be on the other end of the line.
Paul Heyman now added fuel to the mystery during an appearance on Logan Paul’s vlog. While backstage, Paul questioned Heyman about the chaos and the lack of consequences for cheating with brass knuckles.
Heyman responded, “Sometimes you take one step back to take two steps forward. Adam Pearce got a phone call from someone no one wants to hear from.” Paul then asked if the caller was Triple H.
Heyman quickly dismissed that idea, stating that even Triple H would not want to receive a call from this individual. Logan followed up by suggesting, “Oh, this has got to be the big man himself.” Since then, Heyman’s comments have sparked widespread debate among fans.
