Hardcore Holly looks like he is still in ring shape.
Holly competed in WWE from 1994 to 2009, starting as Thurman “Sparky” Plugg before adopting his popular “Hardcore” persona. Holly is retired from the pro wrestling business and maintains a low profile these days, but a recent photo of him has piqued fans’ interest.
Holly’s wife, Linda Howard, shared a photo of him on her Instagram account in June 2025. However, the photo is currently trending and being re-shared on social media. According to Linda, Hardcore Holly has been able to maintain his physique by working out every day for two hours and following the carnivore diet.
The carnivore diet is a meal plan that only allows you to eat food made from animal products like meat, eggs, and some dairy, and forces you to stay away from carbohydrates.
During his WWE career, Holly won the WWF Hardcore Championship six times. He also was a three-time WWF/E World Tag Team Champion with The 1–2–3 Kid, Crash Holly, and Cody Rhodes. Prior to assuming his Hardcore name, Holly also worked as Bombastic Bob as one-half of a revival of The Midnight Express with Bodacious Bart (Gunn). The pair won the NWA World Tag Team Championship together.
Fans may have seen “Bob Holly” on social media, but that is a fake account. Linda Howard has confirmed that this account is fake on multiple occasions. She shared that the account was hacked and taken over by an impersonator. It has also been confirmed that prior to assuming the @TheBobHolly handle, the account impersonated Sid Vicious/Sid Eudy.
