This former AEW Women’s World Champion is reportedly set to enter a dual contract with CMLL.
Following the announcement that she’ll be working the 83rd Anniversary show at Arena Coliseo on April 26, All Elite Wrestling’s Thunder Rosa expressed her interest in securing a dual contract with CMLL.
“Really, you’re gonna ask me that question? Of course I’m interested in something like that. It’s a big deal, it is such a big deal, and it’s such an honor when they recognize you to be somebody to be part of their organization. Absolutely, it would be an honor,” she recently told The Takedown on SI.
The Death Riders’ Claudio Castagnoli became the first AEW talent to sign a dual contract following the success of his CMLL World Heavyweight Championship reign.

Fightful Select reports that the working plan is for Thunder Rosa to be offered a CMLL and AEW dual contract.
“We’re told that the deal with CMLL is set to run concurrently with her AEW deal. It’s believed that her AEW deal expires at some point in 2027, though we’re not sure when,” the report noted.
“The contract is expected to be revealed soon, according to sources familiar with the situation.”
Thunder Rosa unsuccessfully challenged Thekla for the AEW Women’s World Championship on the March 4 episode of AEW Dynamite. WrestleZone provides live coverage of Dynamite on Wednesdays.
