Hulk Hogan’s Son Leaves Door Open for Wrestling Career Amid Netflix Doc Buzz

Nick Hogan has sparked fresh conversation about a possible in-ring future following the release of the Hulk Hogan: Real American docuseries, but his next move remains far from confirmed.

The discussion gained traction during a recent appearance tied to the documentary buzz, where Nick addressed a question he’s heard more times than a referee’s three-count — whether he plans to step into the squared circle himself.

Nick Hogan teases wrestling future following Hulk Hogan Netflix documentary

When asked directly about his wrestling ambitions on a special BONUS episode of 83 Weeks Archive, Nick didn’t slam the door shut. Instead, he kept things open-ended, saying, “Oh my goodness, you never know… I’ve been attracted to it my whole life.” He added that he occasionally trains to “knock the ring rust off,” noting he’s currently in “pretty darn good shape.”

Nick also made it clear that wrestling isn’t unfamiliar territory. “If the time ever comes… I would absolutely welcome that,” he said, leaving the possibility hanging like a Money in the Bank briefcase — within reach, but not yet claimed.

His connection to the business runs deeper than curiosity. Nick has described wrestling as being “in the blood,” especially following the passing of Hulk Hogan in July 2025. Being around the industry, he noted, helps him feel closer to his father’s legacy.

Training hasn’t just been talk. Nick has spent time at the WWE Performance Center and previously trained for several months, while also working in-ring sessions with talents like Bryan Idol. He’s even floated a potential ring name — “Nasty Nick,” a nod to a nickname given by his father.

Despite that activity, there’s been no official movement toward a debut. Reports indicate there have been no serious discussions with WWE regarding an in-ring role currently.

For now, Nick remains on the ropes between possibility and action — but if history has taught wrestling fans anything, it’s to never say never.
