Nikki and Brie Bella revealed that they have been trying to bring back WWE’s Total Divas for years now.
While on the Battleground podcast, the Bellas were asked whether or not they would be open to returning should WWE bring back the TV show. The pair then revealed that, “for years” now, they’d been in conversations to try and bring it back.
“We’ve had conversations about it for years, about bringing it back. We’ve always pushed hard for that because it really helped the women, not only showcase what they can do in and out of the ring, but it gave our voices such a big platform,” said Nikki Bella.
“I feel like now, with what the women are doing, it’s a perfect time for it to be back, and to showcase what these women are doing, how they’re delivering, and I want to know what some of them are doing inside and outside of the ring. If they were to call, we are back right now, so it might be a yes.”
Nikki joked that “the drama might be different” due to the age gaps, but it does sound like the pair are open to the idea. Total Divas was a reality series that premiered in 2013 and ran for nine seasons, ending in 2019 after 120 episodes. The show acted as an inside look at female WWE stars, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at their lives in and out of the ring.
