Logan Paul is reportedly facing an extended absence from WWE after suffering an injury during Saturday Night’s Main Event, creating a major shake-up for Raw’s tag team division.
The injury update was officially revealed during the May 25 episode of WWE Raw from the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio.
While Paul and Austin Theory managed to leave Saturday night with the WWE World Tag Team Championships still intact, the celebration didn’t last long once the seriousness of the injury became clear.
Logan Paul injury forces WWE to change Tag Team plans
The news was confirmed in commentary from Michael Cole on Raw. Paul tore his triceps during the closing moments of the title defense against The Street Profits. Initial rumors suggested a possible leg injury, but WWE later confirmed the triceps tear.
That injury now leaves Austin Theory without his regular partner inside Paul Heyman’s Vision faction. Heyman quickly addressed the situation on Raw and announced that Bron Breakker will step in to defend the championships alongside Theory moving forward.
The injury reportedly happened while Paul and Theory were retaining their titles against Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins. With interference from Heyman and Breakker at ringside, Paul used his loaded right hand behind the referee’s back, allowing Theory to secure the pinfall victory.
Unfortunately for The Maverick, the celebration may have come with a heavy price tag. A torn triceps injury typically sidelines performers for months, meaning WWE now has to pivot creatively while one of Raw’s most high-profile stars recovers.
Raw wasted little time moving the story forward. Shortly after the announcement, Joe Hendry appeared and led fans in another round of his “Fire Logan Paul” song before Theory launched a chair attack.
For now, the Vision still holds championship gold, but Logan Paul’s road back to WWE just became a much tougher climb — and this setback may hit harder than one of his loaded punches.
